Luxe releases “Looking 4” Featuring Hartry & Txtmeback, and it’s everything you’d want in a Future Bass track

Taking band class all through high school with John Michael, we were always interested in the current electronic and rock music – especially the weird stuff. Fast-forward about 6 years later, LUXE sure has established himself in the underground local scene. In Hamilton he’s headlined the Saturday Night Drive at Baltimore House alongside Fruiti, both whom are artists belonging to VIII Fest & Studios (Hamilton’s first electronic music festival EVER).

But Luxe has come a long way to finally find his niche in the EDM spectrum. He’s spun anything from twerk/trap to hip hop, dubstep, house, and currently future house. I’m really enjoying this new track. “Looking 4” has a touch of elegance to it with catchy vocals from Toronto local Hartry, and Hamilton local Txtmeback. Ironically I’ve had Luxe and Txtmeback spin at my house party before, and it was seriously underrated. The chemistry these guys have really comes through the track, with Hartry’s vocals as the icing on the cake.

When I first started writing ‘Looking 4’ I wasn’t sure what genre I was going for; I usually make trap but I was really looking to give it a different vibe. I was trying to find my sound with this track and that’s what really gave me inspiration just the fact that I was looking for a new way to connect with my fans through my music. I also got Hartry and Txtmeback on the track, which brought everything together. I work very closely with these two artists so I thought we work perfectly together on this track. – LUXE

Who knows, perhaps we will have to have Luxe join us soon for a weekly mix? Stay tuned and enjoy the chunes.
